Hi, We had took a credit card and opted for settlement as our financial condition went weak due to personal reasons. We only missed the last installment of the settlement due by one month, now they are asking for the whole amount to be paid in full and are saying that because of your failure in paying that last installment you are now liable to pay the whole amount in two days or we will take the court order and take away your tv, fridge etc. My questions are, are they allowed to do so? Can this matter get closed by paying the last installment? because we cant afford to pay that sum. Please advice. Thanks in advance.

You can settle the matter amicably or ask them to approach Civil Court where you have ample chances of compromise and getting installments also.
